My best friend is due any day now and I'm so excited for her. She radiates love and warmth. We explored the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens. It was a gorgeous day! Welcome soon baby, we love you so much already.
Engagement // Ashley+Justin // Lake Tahoe
I had so much fun photographing Ashley and Justin this winter. We started out adventuring on a snow mobile, playing with a vintage sled that was a family heirloom, ending our shoot with a gorgeous sunset at King's Beach. There has been a lot of snow in Lake Tahoe recently and we lucked out with the perfect weekend of weather. So excited for these two! Congrats!!!
Rescue Outreach: Spirit at Horses Healing Hearts
I had the opportunity to meet with Melissa at Horses Healing Hearts recently and saw Spirit again. Spirit/Lichtenstein (gelding) is almost 9 years old and is the Great Great Grandson of Secretariat. If anyone has seen that movie knows exactly what I'm talking about. Tears...for being so good. He was found emaciated in a pasture in Castro Valley on December 31st, 2011.
That's when Horses Healing Hearts took him in. He has such a charming personality. After years of love and care, Spirit is ready for his forever home. He would do best with an experienced rider. He has some limitations and can be walked and trotted. He can canter, however he needs to build up muscle in the hind leg. He can be ridden English or Western.
